I know this is flying a little under the radar since I’m not doing a big book release, but the 4th book in the Lorne Family Vault series is available today on Amazon. This book is essentially the beginning of the end for the series. Even though there is no time lose between the ending of SUSY Asylum and the beginning of Doria Falls, there is a major paradigm shift in Doria Falls. Doria Falls and Archanum Manor (the upcoming 5th and final book in the series) really do flow together.
Luckily, Archanum Manor is not far off. I am putting the finishing touches on it right now, with a tentative release date for early February 2016.
Here is the Blurb for Doria Falls:
In Doria Falls, the sky is falling.
Since Oliver cannot transition home, he has Mr. Gordon’s assurance that they’re finally on their way to meet Oliver’s father. The journey will not be easy with Provex City on the brink of collapse. Doria, located in the plane just beyond the majesty of Provex City—one more step and one more lifetime away—may not even survive. It is in that plane where Oliver’s father is hiding the rebellion camp, which may not remain hidden for long.
Once he gets there, nothing is what Oliver expects—not what’s left of the crippled new plane, not the rebellion against the greater Lorne family, not his father, and not Oliver’s newfound capabilities. But everything Oliver has learned thus far is put to the test when he finds himself once again face-to-face with the bogeyman—the patriarch of the all-reaching Lorne family—Kafka himself. This time Oliver may not be so lucky.
Welcome to Doria Falls.
I finished writing Doria Falls in 2014 and it’s been mostly dormant on my laptop for the better part of a year because I wanted to finish the series before releasing any more books. In the current self publishing environment, it’s important to release regularly, especially for a series with cliff hangers and must be read in order (which my series is). I wasn’t writing fast enough to say relevant in the new publishing landscape–a book a year is just not enough to build momentum (under most circumstances). So I decided to hold back and finish the series before looking to publishing. This strategy also helped me fix continuity issues with the earlier books, which is why all of the earlier books in the series have been recently re-released.
If you haven’t started the Lorne Family Vault series yet, then there’s no better time than right now. If you sign up to my mailing list (and I promise not to blow up your inbox. I’ll only sparingly send updates and goodies), then you can get the first two books in the series absolutely free.
In the next week or so, I’ll also be releasing a Book 3 & 4 box set (SUSY Asylum / Doria Falls) at a savings of 33% from purchasing the books separately. And the final book, Archanum Manor, will be out in less than two months. So it’s the perfect time to join Oliver on his journey of a lifetime. Mr. Gordon said to Oliver, “When you believe anything is possible, you can open doors where there were only walls.” And he does.
Have a great weekend and happy reading!
